Motorcycle R&R (Rain and Repair)

Today marked the ride up to Thunder Bay. It was a momentous ride as it marked the last city in Ontario that I would be staying in. The ride up was quite scenic especially when approaching Lake Head University. Along the Lake Superior coast the view is filled with rolling hills and a magnificent sunset.

It’s getting around that time of the year where the sun doesn’t really set and the sky is in a constant state of twilight. I will note this next time I use the sun as a gauge to determine if I have time for another beer.

During the ride up it rained for about 8hrs and the bike stopped working half way up. Checking for broken tubes and running engine tests is never easy especially roadside and even harder when it’s raining. I managed to limp the bike into a Canadian tire and they were kind enough to let me borrow their tools to fix the bike in the parking lot. Unfortunately I took few photos today as the rain and frustration made me just want to get to my hostel.
